Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963 into the musically inclined family of Newark New Jersey is the daughter of the gospel singers Cissy Houston as well as John Russell Houston Jr. Also, she is the sister of singer Dionne Warwick. In her early years she performed in the New Hope Baptist Church choir in Newark. When she reached the age of fifteen, Houston was singing professionally as a backing vocalist with her mother in Chaka Khan's hit song in 1978 Im Every Woman. The singer went on to sing the backing vocals of Jermaine and Lou Rawls as well as her own mother and worked briefly as models on the cover of Seventeen magazine in the year 1981. Her work as the lead vocalist in New York funk group Material was noticed by major record labels, including Arista who she was signed in 1982, and continued to work for the remainder of her life with them. Her debut album Whitney Houston was released in 1985, and was the most-seller album by an artist who was a rookie. Tracks like the title track, The Most Beautiful Love of All, How Can I Tell If You Give Good Love or Saving the Day and All My Love were all released on the album. These songs enabled Houston to earn seven US top tens which were higher than even those of The Beatles. The album came out in 1987, and it sold over 25 million copies worldwide. The Whitney follow-up in 1987 with the singles How Do Broken Hearts GO and I Wanna Dance With Somebody helped to further build upon the success of her debut album. However, it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard that solidified her position as one of the world's most loved performers. The film, and her performance in it was not appreciated, but the soundtrack and her rendition of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You charted for several months on the charts and she sold more than 44 million albums and singles all over the world. That same year she married Bobby Brown who was a ex- New Edition singer. She was the sole daughter of Bobby and Bobbi Kristina Brown together on March 23, 1993. Around this time the drug use was documented, and she began using daily in 1996.

Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American anchorwoman for news and reporting and political correspondent for CNN. In the past, she has been the producer of shows on the network, such as Evans & Novak' Late Editionas well as Inside Politics'. Bash has been awarded the Women in Washington Power List honor by Elle magazine. She's known for her amazing anchoring and reporting skills, and is highly regarded by younger journalists. She is a George Washington University grad is a devoted mother to her only child. She's been had two marriages. The moment she is unmarried.
